Acorn is a lively group that runs during term time.  It is open to parents and family carers with children from newborn until they go to primary school.  We offer a wide range of toys for the children to play with.

About halfway through the morning we serve parents with a cup of tea, coffee or cold drink and a biscuit, along with the children who have a choice of squash or water and a biscuit.

Booking is required for this group and can be done at the bottom of this page.

Mondays 10am - 11.30am

Coffee Play provides space, toys and activities for children to safely play whilst you enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and is open to parents, carers and childminders. This group is for pre-school age children in term time and expands to include primary age children during school holidays.  During school holidays there is also a session on a Thursday between 10am and 11.30am.

Although this is a drop in session numbers may be restricted.

Planning your Visit

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

Our Sunday Services start at 10.30am, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to allow time to meet our welcome team and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you will be given a welcome leaflet which gives a brief outline of Enfield Baptist Church, along with a “stay in touch” card, we would encourage you to complete this and hand it back to one of the team.

There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.
