July 2022 and the handing of the baton of leadership. I had served EBC since 1987 as a Deacon, Youth Worker, Assistant Minister and since 2008 as Senior Minister but I felt it was time for a new chapter for both EBC and me. I am delighted that this chapter has meant continuing links with the fellowship as the Pastor Emerita. I have to admit that I had to google it! Thank you EBC for this honorary title that I am humbled to receive.
So what does this new chapter in my ministry look like? Answer - making Jesus known and seeing the Kingdom of God grow in people’s lives and in this community wherever I am led to serve. The Tuesday Guild here at EBC is high on my list of “love to” along with Chelsea, pickleball, cricket, KB the dog and Maltesers!
